Laura Anne Jones MS, took time out of her schedule to pay a visit to East Wales' Carn y Cefn housing development, situated on the site of former Ebbw Vale Comprehensive School and College.

The East Wales development includes a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bed properties and is situated within the Shadow Minister’s region of South East Wales.

Whilst visiting the site, Laura Anne Jones MS heard Carn Y Cefn development is delivering a substantial £29m investment in the Gwent Valleys, and providing nearly 300 much-needed new homes in the area - 55 of which are being made available for social housing provision with United Welsh.

As well as delivering quality new homes for local people, the site at Carn Y Cefn will also create more than 200 jobs over its construction life, as well as boosting the local economy by £7m per annum.
