South Midlands team delivers careers talk at Birchensale Middle School

A Redditch-based school has recently hosted our South Midlands team, who gave a talk to pupils on careers in construction.

Construction Director, Jak Harper, spoke to pupils at Birchensale Middle School about the opportunities available within the housebuilding industry.

The event helped to introduce the pupils to a selection of jobs, sharing experiences and stories with them. Jak’s talk aimed to provide pupils with a realistic insight into different career paths; giving information which will, in time, help them to make informed decisions about their careers.

Jak said: “What we do is about so much more than building quality homes; it’s also about ensuring that we support the workforce of the future and create jobs in the communities we build in.

“It was great to deliver this talk to pupils at Birchensale Middle School to showcase the variety of career options available in housebuilding.”
