A Stratford-upon-Avon based primary school has secured a £3,000 donation from our South Midlands team, helping them to refresh their outdoor spaces.
The Willows Friends is the associated charity of Holy Trinity Primary School, based in the Warwickshire town. The charity organises a range of fundraising activities to benefit the pupils and their school lives. The team donated the funds as part of our Community Champions initiative. The £3,000 cash boost will allow the charity to find new equipment for the school’s playground which is in need of modernising.
Louise Clarke, Chairperson at The Willows Friends said: “We are delighted with the generous donation from Persimmon Homes. The children were excited to hear we are one step closer to funding a new outdoor learning space that will get used throughout the year. This donation means so much to our school community, thank you.”
Russell Griffin, Managing Director at Persimmon Homes South Midlands, said: “What we do is about much more than just building homes, it’s about leaving a lasting positive legacy in the communities that we build in. We’re always delighted to lend a hand to local community groups to boost their ongoing initiatives or contribute to causes that mean a lot to them.”
“We’re delighted to be able to offer this £3,000 donation to The Willows Friends, which will enable them to modernise the playground.”
