South Midlands team helps to breathe new life into Worcestershire school’s outdoor space

A primary school in Worcestershire has received a cash boost to rejuvenate its outdoor spaces, thanks to our South Midlands team.
Chawson First School – based in Droitwich – received a £1,000 donation from us part of our Community Champions initiative. The funds will be used to purchase new outdoor resources for the school, allowing pupils to make the most of the outdoors as well as develop their interpersonal skills, physical activity and enhance their playtime.
Flora Panesar, Secretary at Chawson First School PTA, said: “We’re absolutely delighted by this kind donation from Persimmon Homes. Our goal has always been to create a vibrant outdoor space which provides our pupils with lots of learning opportunities including physical development, social skills, and well-being – as well as allowing them to have lots of fun.”
Amanda Rogers, Sales Director of South Midlands, said: “What we do is about much more than just building homes, it’s about leaving a lasting positive legacy in the communities that we build in. We’re always delighted to lend a hand to local schools and community groups to boost their ongoing initiatives or contribute to causes that mean a lot to them.”
“It’s great to see Chawson First School put the donation to good use already and we look forward to hearing how the pupils are enjoying their refreshed outdoor space!”
