South Midlands team ‘Wear it Green’ for Mental Health Awareness Week
16 May 2024
Our South Midlands team has raised £375 for the Mental Health Foundation by encouraging all staff to wear green for Mental Health Awareness week.
Since 1949, the Mental Health Foundation has been leading the UK in building good mental health. The team’s fundraising efforts will help the national charity to continue its work throughout the year. The charity’s ‘Wear It Green’ initiative allows businesses to contribute to supporting the Mental Health Foundation in carrying out vital research and delivering programmes for different communities.
Russell Griffin, Managing Director at Persimmon Homes South Midlands, said: “What we do is about so much more than building quality homes, it’s also about working to ensure we give back to the community.
“We’re delighted to have had so many members of the team show their support for Mental Health Awareness Week, raising vital funds in the process.”
