South Wales site wins a Premier Guarantee Quality Recognition Award

House-builders in Bridgend are celebrating after being awarded a Premier Guarantee Quality Recognition Award in June for their work in Llys Ystrad.

The Premier Guarantee Excellence Awards has been designed to recognise the UK's best developments covered by its schemes.

West Wales’ region development in the town will deliver a total of 127 homes at Llys Ystrad on the former Ysgol Bryn Castell site on Llangewydd Road in Cefn Glas.

It means award recipients, site manager Andy Jones and his team, will be shortlisted for the Premier Excellence awards in February 2024.

The awards judge sites on five categories:
1. Standard of Site Management
2. Standard of Workmanship
3. Health & Safety
4. Site Tidiness
5. General Cooperation

Stuart Phillips, Managing Director at West Wales region, said:

“Winning this quality recognition award is no easy feat, especially considering the limited number that are issued across the UK, so I want to extend my congratulations to the winners.
