Stanway Villa Youth FC tackles sponsorship with Persimmon
23 December 2013
Youngsters from a Stanway football squad have scored sponsorship from Persimmon and netted a new match kit for the team.
Persimmon Homes Essex has kitted out the Stanway Villa under 11 ‘Tigers’ with a matching strip including shirts, shorts and socks.
Stuart Hornby, team manager of the under 11s, said: “We are delighted with the support that Persimmon Homes has provided and grateful for the generous donation of a new match kit.
“Stanway Villa FC is well known in the area, established back in 1971, so it is great for the young players to feel important when on the pitch, and the matching kit has really helped the team come together.
“The boys feel valued and the new strip will hopefully prompt a winning streak this season and into the future.”
Norman Sharpe, sales and marketing director at Persimmon Homes Essex, said: “It has always been important for us to support the community in which our developments are located.
“With our Nightingale Gardens development in Stanway we are more than happy to offer our support to the budding young players.”
Nightingale Gardens offers an impressive range of two, three and four-bedroom homes located just off Robin Crescent. Prospective house hunters can benefit from a selection of incentives such as the Government-backed Help to Buy Scheme, Home Change, Newbuy and the Persimmon Homes Part Exchange Scheme.
