Strong start for £18 million housing development
19 February 2020
Leading housebuilder Persimmon Homes Durham is welcoming interest in its new £18 million development in the County Durham village of Bowburn.
Construction is underway on the 170-property development and it is expected the first of the range of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes at the development, called Millbeck Grange, will be available in June. The builder is now urging people to act quickly and register their interest in the much-anticipated development to secure their pick of the plots.
Christine Cooper, sales director said: “We think Millbeck Grange will prove especially popular as it is in a great location. It is surrounded by the countryside, and will be a wonderful place to enjoy family life whilst first-time buyers will also love how close it is to Durham city centre and transport links. We are also pleased to be creating jobs in construction and the supply chain which brings a boost to County Durham’s economy and the region overall.”
Richard Cook, director in charge added: “Across all our developments we are committed to providing a desirable selection of homes for local people at the right price. There is already keen interest in Millbeck Grange and buyers can act now to pick their favourite plots.”
The sales office in Tursdale Road, Bowburn, is open Thursday to Monday from 11am to 6pm, offering the current range of three, four and five-bedroom homes from £159,950.
