Stubbington homes set to trigger £4m investment
22 April 2022

Persimmon South Coast has confirmed its plans for more than 200 new homes in Stubbington, triggering over £4million of investment in the village.
The Oakcroft Chase development will provide a range of two, three and four-bedroom homes, designed to suit local buyers.
Land director Sharon Eckford said: “We are delighted to have secured the land for this development which will bring much-needed new homes and significant investment to the community.
“Alongside the 206 properties – of which 82 will be available for affordable rent or shared ownership, delivered through a registered provider – we will make financial contributions of around £4million towards education, ecology, infrastructure and transport improvements to benefit local residents.
“In line with our commitment to creating healthy and sustainable communities, the development will also provide around 10 hectares of open space to Fareham Borough Council and electric car charging points to encourage sustainable travel choices.
“A development of this size has the potential to support more than 600 jobs – both those directly employed in building the site, and indirectly through the supply chain and additional spending within the neighbourhood – helping to build and maintain a vibrant local economy.”
