Studley Juniors FC to receive £1,000 funding boost

Community based junior football team Studley Juniors is set to receive a £1,000 funding boost thanks to the Community Champions scheme.
Bob Harrison of Studley Juniors FC explains: “We are a community based not-for-profit, grass roots junior football team playing in the Midland Junior Premier and Central Warwickshire Leagues.
“Our aim is to develop young aspiring players from a footballing and character perspective, while at the same time focusing on the importance of working as a team. We are looking to purchase a ‘veo’ which is a piece of equipment that will automatically record the games and training sessions without the need for a cameraman. From this we can provide visual positive and progressive feedback which will dramatically improve the learning process both on an individual basis and the team as a whole. In addition, it will also allow players, parents and coaches to have wonderful memories of their times participating in football together.
“We have been raising money with the help of parents and coaches who have been providing hot drinks at matches and through football cards. We are grateful to Persimmon Homes South Midlands for this generous donation that will mean we can get our veo equipment more quickly.”
Amanda Rogers, sales director for South Midlands region, said: “We are pleased to be able to provide this funding to Studley Juniors FC so they can get the equipment they need that will go a long way to helping them with their training and player development.”
