Suffolk sales team at the forefront of training
23 September 2021
Our Suffolk region is emerging strongly from the pandemic with key sales appointments and a prestigious qualification in its ranks.
Ipswich-based sales advisors Jasmine Bidwell and Megan Joel have attained the coveted Association of Professional Sales (APS) qualification, making them some of the first construction professionals nationwide to add this achievement to their CV.
Earlier this year, we became the first UK housebuilder to announce a partnership with the national chartered body that represents careers in the sales sector. The new APS qualification complements the company’s national sales development pathway, ensuring all sales advisors follow a programme of continuous professional development.
Suffolk’s sales director Lucy Woodhall said: “The APS accreditation is highly valued, demonstrating a commitment to professionalism and operating to the highest standards. “It speaks volumes that Persimmon works in partnership with this esteemed national body, and we are proud that Jasmine and Mega are among the first in the country to earn the qualification.”
Persimmon has also recruited a new member to its sales team, Emily Stopher, joining the company’s ranks. Emily is currently working on the Weavers Meadow development in Hadleigh, but has gained additional experience at the formal Show Home Launch at Samford Gardens in Capel St Mary this summer.
Lucy Woodhall added: “Despite the challenges of the last eighteen months, this region has a thriving housing market and at Persimmon we have a number of very exciting projects underway in Suffolk and further afield. We warmly welcome Emily to the team. I can promise her plenty of development opportunities and wish Emily every success in their sales career with Persimmon Homes Limited.”
