Swindon site wins a Premier Guarantee Quality Recognition Award

Wessex region is celebrating a site in Swindon after being awarded a Premier Guarantee Quality Recognition Award in June for their work in Stanton Chase.
The Premier Guarantee Excellence Awards has been designed to recognise the UK's best developments covered by its schemes.
Wessex’s development in the town will deliver a total of 113 homes at Stanton Chase at the old Catsbrain Farm. There are two, three, and four-bed properties for sale here from £254,995.
It means award recipients, site manager Gary Adams and his team, will be shortlisted for the Premier Excellence awards in February 2024.
The awards judge sites on five categories:
- Standard of Site Management
- Standard of Workmanship
- Health & Safety
- Site Tidiness
- General Cooperation
The news comes after the Leader and Cabinet Member for Housing for Swindon Council visited the site in the summer and as a resolution to grant planning permission for 1,552 new high-quality homes at nearby Kingsdown was passed by the Council’s planning committee.
Commenting, Wessex’s region managing director, Julian Roper, said:
“Winning a quality recognition award is not easy, so I want to extend my congratulations to Gary and his team for being worthy winners.
“They are hard workers who live up to Persimmon’s ambition to build high-quality homes for local people, and we’re pleased that this also acknowledges the work of all the contractors and supply chain partners that work together to build these new homes to award-winning quality standard.
“We’re really proud of what we’ve accomplished at Stanton Chase so far because we know just how much expertise has gone into it and, after this award, I’m sure customers will be really interested in buying here and at Kingsdown where we hope to deliver 1,500 more homes.”
