Three storey living is perfect for @Bramblehomesouter
03 March 2021
Persimmon Homes ambassador Casey Hoggarth and her partner Bradley Parker didn’t give their home purchase a second thought after falling in love with the three-story Souter townhouse while on a casual visit to look at Rainton Meadows in County Durham.
Three years on and they are loving life in their home and have truly made it their own with tasteful decoration and bespoke furniture.
Casey explained: “We had just decided to go and have look around and its happened that the mortgage advisor was on-site that day!
“The Souter really appealed to us as we liked the three-storey townhouse style and it has worked well for us. Having the main bedroom as a suite on the top floor is excellent. The room is spacious and you have the en-suite and storage.
“All the bedrooms are doubles and that has definitely been an advantage as Bradley and I have been working from home together. We have enough space for us both to be in our office/ games room and I have the other bedroom as my dressing room/our cat, Luna’s bedroom!
“We moved around a bit, but we have now reached the perfect solution!”
Casey says they are happy with the way their home has taken shape and loves the Persimmon Homes community that is developing on Instagram.
“When we first moved in I had Pinterest boards full of ideas, but now I get most of my inspiration from Instagram and other Persimmon homeowners,” she said.
“Becoming homeowners at 20 was daunting, but the support of other Persimmon homeowners on Instagram was fantastic. It is great looking at other people’s designs and seeing how they use their space and decorate their homes and everyone is very supportive too.
“I am also happy to help others where I can, I have posted about our dining room table which my uncle made for us and we have some lovely comments and people asking us for the dimensions as they are setting out buying furniture for their new homes.
“It is very exciting buying a brand-new home. It is a blank canvas and no-one has ever lived in it before. Hopefully nothing can go wrong, but if it does you have the support of the sales and site team.
“We have loved making our house our home and we are really looking forward to having friends and family around again.
“I think we can sit back and think we have got it as we want it at the moment, but long-term we would like to add an orangery or conservatory.
“This is a lovely place to live and there is a fantastic community spirit on the development and we have supported each other through some good times and some less good ones.
“We won’t be moving on anytime soon.”Bramblehomesouter
