Warminster Site Manager receives esteemed quality award

28 June 2024

Morgan Haddrell, site manager at the Jubilee Gardens development in Warminster, has been honoured by the National House Building Council (NHBC) with the prestigious Pride in the Job Quality Award, celebrating his exceptional skills in home construction.

Morgan is among 19 site managers from Persimmon Homes to achieve this distinguished award this year, marking the company's best performance in nearly fifteen years.

Having rejoined the company in 2022 after spending eight years in the commercial sector, Morgan has been a site manager for two years. He initially worked with Persimmon Homes for ten years, during which he completed his night-school training as an assistant site manager.

Morgan is responsible for overseeing the delivery of homes for Persimmon’s sister company, Charles Church @ Jubilee Gardens in Warminster, which features a variety of home sizes and architectural designs to cater to the local community's diverse needs.

The Pride in the Job competition is highly regarded in the home building industry, serving as a benchmark for outstanding quality and performance among site managers.

All site managers on NHBC Buildmark warranty-registered sites are eligible to compete. Quality Award winners advance to the Seal of Excellence Award stage, with the opportunity to compete for

Regional Awards and the ultimate Pride in the Job Supreme Awards in January 2025.

Commenting on the award, Morgan, said “It’s an honour to receive this award, which reflects the hard work and dedication of the Charles Church @ Jubilee Gardens site team. Their commitment to quality has been outstanding. This award is a testament to our focus on excellence as we continue to deliver quality new homes for local families.”

Julian Roper, Regional Managing Director at Persimmon Homes Wessex, added “We’re very proud of Morgan and his team’s achievements at Charles Church @ Jubilee Gardens. His leadership and focus on quality have made a significant impact on the quality of the site. Professionals like Morgan ensure that we continue to deliver homes that meet high standards and satisfy our customers' needs.”
