We support special playground

A ‘special playground for a special school’ will benefit from a £1,000 donation from Anglia
The regional team selected Lowestoft’s Warren Special School to receive the funding through its Building Futures scheme, which supports organisations working with the under-18s.
Warren Association Trust spokesperson Debi Scarlett said: “We are a small, dedicated group of parents and staff who work extremely hard to raise funds to provide additional money to Warren School so they can maintain and build upon their resources, curriculum and larger projects.
“We have 115 students with severe and profound learning difficulties and our aim is to create a ‘Special Playground for a Special School’. Persimmon’s generous donation will be used to buy equipment such musical instruments, a bench, a swing or a trampoline.”
Over the years, the registered charity has successfully fundraised and contributed towards many projects, equipment and experiences for the school, such a swimming pool, school minibus, a sensory room, computers, music media equipment, specialised PE and sensory resources.

Michelle Baker, director in charge at Anglia, said: “Building Futures is all about supporting youth organisations in our area and the work of the Warren Association Trust is certainly worthy of our help.
