West Heath, Birmingham is ready for viewings
14 December 2010
A £7.4m housing scheme to bring 49 homes to West Heath has now opened.
The 3.4 acre brownfield development on Rednal Road is being built on land formerly owned by West Heath Hospital. The ‘Kings Park West’ scheme will ultimately feature a mix of two, three and four bedroom traditional semi detached and detached houses for sale in Birmingham, which includes an element of affordable housing to enable local people to continue to remain close to their roots, with three bedroom properties on the first release.
Anita Williams, sales and marketing director for Wolverhampton-based Persimmon Homes West Midlands, couldn’t be more pleased to be ploughing investment into West Heath. She said: “There is an ongoing demand for new homes in this particular area. This scheme will help to meet the local housing need for the next two years and we are delighted to be responding to the current shortfall.
“The Rednal Road investment is great news for the local community and we can’t wait to welcome visitors to the development to show them how our plans will transform former this brownfield land into an aspirational place to live.”
