West Midlands team volunteers for charitable organisations in Telford
04 April 2023

Two local organisations have received a boost in time for Easter, thanks to volunteering days held by West Midlands.
Members of the Telford-based team volunteered their time to In Kind Direct, a UK charity focused on distributing consumer products, donated by companies, to charitable organisations in our network to ensure that everyone has access to the products they need to keep clean, safe and well. The work of Persimmon means that over 10,600 products will now be available to charities across In Kind Direct’s network.
In time for Easter, West Midlands also donated over 100 Easter eggs to Telford Crisis Support, a volunteer-led organisation who run Telford Foodbank, who provide emergency food parcels to individuals and families in financial crisis.
Daniel Hassall, Managing Director at Persimmon Homes West Midlands, said: “What we do is about so much more than building quality homes; it’s also about supporting the communities in which we build in a number of ways.
“At Persimmon, we encourage our team to volunteer their time to causes close to their hearts and it’s great to know that our work will have such a positive impact just in time for Easter.”
