Work set to start on Llanelli scheme
09 November 2017
Work to build 240 new homes close to the Burry estuary will start in a matter of weeks.
Construction work will to start on site in November, it was revealed.
Sharon Robinson, sales director at Persimmon Homes West Wales, said: “We are delighted to be pressing forward with our plans for these 240 new homes.”
“The plans follow a lengthy period of consultation and collaboration with Carmarthenshire Council.”
“Good quality, affordable housing is required right across South Wales. This scheme will go some way towards addressing the need for new homes in this area so that people who have grown up here have the opportunity to remain there when they leave the family home.”
Pendderi Road will consist of a range of two, three and four bedroom homes in a beautiful coastline location.
The site is just six-and-a-half miles from Swansea, there are an excellent selection of shops and amenities nearby, as well as leisure and sports facilities.
Llanelli town centre has recently been the subject of a £60m regeneration.
Househunters are now able to register their interest in the development. They will then be alerted when the first homes go on sale before the end of the year so that they do not miss out on their preferred plot.
Sharon added: “We are expecting these properties to be very popular, so we’d recommend serious househunters get ahead of the rest by registering an interest today.”
