Work starts on 91 new homes in Haverfordwest
19 November 2021

The second phase of our major development in Haverfordwest is underway, bringing a further 91 homes to the town.
We’ve seen huge demand for our Merlins Lane development off Scarrowscant Lane.
Work on the first phase started in mid-2020 and has almost been completed. We are now pushing forward with the second phase of work on adjacent land, which will take the total number of properties to 170.
We’re now taking Early Bird reservations on the new homes during construction.
Sharon Bouhali, sales director at West Wales, said: “We’re delighted to be progressing with this second phase of Merlins Lane.
“It has been a hugely successful site for us and we know there is going to be strong demand in these new homes.
“Haverfordwest is an area where there is a real need for good quality, affordable homes and we’re pleased to be able to help people find their perfect home in the popular town.”
The Early Bird scheme allows househunters to reserve a plot for just £100. Once the house has been released onto the market, the customer has three days to decide whether to proceed to purchase. If the customer does decide to pull out, the reservation fee is fully refundable.
There are two, three and four-bedroom homes available, including some of our most popular house types.
West Wales has been phenomenally popular with househunters, particularly since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
“The pandemic really changed the market in many ways,” said Sharon.
“It forced people to reassess their lives and what their homes mean to them. Many people also now have the luxury of not having to travel to the office so much and can afford to live that little bit further away from their place of work.
“All of this means places like Haverfordwest have seen huge demand – and that isn’t dying down.”
