Help to Buy: Equity Loan available at Persimmon Grange

Persimmon Homes has put together a special sale package ideal for first time buyers in Suffolk.

For a limited period, Persimmon Homes will lay carpet and vinyl in selected plots at its Persimmon Grange development in Framlingham, plus turf the garden*.

Lucy Woodhall, sales manager for Persimmon Homes Suffolk, said: “Taking that first step onto the housing ladder can be a big financial outlay, so we are always looking for ways to help ease the burden. In this case we are offering to have flooring and turf laid at selected plots, making a potential saving of hundreds of pounds".

“Buyers at Persimmon Grange can also access the Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme, which means they only need a five per cent deposit to secure their dream home – a much more achievable saving target for first timers".

“The Government then provides an equity loan, which is interest and repayment free for five years, for 20 per cent of the purchase price, with the remainder covered by a mortgage".

“Help to Buy: Equity Loan is a huge help to first time buyers, as well as those moving up the property ladder.”

Persimmon Grange, in the popular marketing town of Framlingham, offers two, three, four and five bedroom homes from just £209,995.

Lucy added: “For first time buyers our two bedroom Alnwick or three bedroom Hanbury style houses are perfect. Both offer practical open-plan dining kitchens and the Hanbury even has an en suite to the master bedroom".

“The development is surrounded by gorgeous countryside but still has good transport links into Ipswich and Norwich. There are plenty of local shops and markets and excellent schools, making it also a lovely place for families.”
