Nottingham region team gives £4,000 cash boost to Paviors Rugby Club Under 15s

An under 15s rugby team has received a cash boost to help its players reach their potential in training, thanks to our team in Nottingham region.

Paviors RFC received a £4,000 donation from the developer as part of its Community Champions initiative. The funds will be used to purchase a video camera, where training and games can be recorded – helping the team with analysing their training as well as assisting with GCSE Sport coursework, which each member of the team is taking part in.

Tina Evans at Paviors RFC said: “We’re absolutely delighted by this kind donation from Persimmon Homes. Our goal has always been to ensure our team are reaching their fullest potential both on and off the pitch. The money that Persimmon has kindly gifted us will allow the players to further improve their rugby skills as well as assist with their studies.”

Gareth Hankin, Managing Director at Persimmon Homes Nottingham, added: “We’re delighted to show our support to Paviors RFC. What we do is about much more than just building homes, it’s about leaving a lasting positive legacy in the communities that we build in. We’re always delighted to lend a hand to local sports groups to boost their ongoing initiatives or contribute to causes that mean a lot to them.”
