Persimmon Homes South Coast secures new site at Berewood, Hampshire

Persimmon Homes South Coast has purchased a new site for 92 much-needed homes at Berewood, which is located just outside Waterlooville in Hampshire.

The site already has outline planning permission and Persimmon have submitted a reserved matters application to confirm the final details with the aim of starting work on site in 2025.

Working with master developers Grainger, the site will see two new primary schools constructed, the first of which is already open, as well as the provision of a Local Centre that will include a community hall and medical centre. The site is set in over 250 acres of green space and residents can enjoy the 120-acre nature reserve, allotments, children’s play areas and the new skate park.

Sharon Eckford, Land Director at Persimmon Homes South Coast said:

“We are excited to have secured this high-quality site at Berewood that is set in over 250 acres of green space that we know our buyers will find highly desirable.

“The site delivers a wealth of community facilities and local infrastructure for residents while also providing much needed new homes in the area. Persimmon are delighted to be involved in this exciting project.

“We are currently going through the planning system and are hopeful that we can offer this site to our customers this year.”
