Law’s local shops and convenience stores are within walking distance of Brackenhill Brae, and a short drive takes you to Carluke just 3 miles away, or Wishaw 4 miles away, for a choice of national supermarket chains. For world-class shopping, make the short journey into Glasgow. The city is the UK’s biggest retail centre outside London, and hosts a fantastic range of independent shops and high street names, from vintage gems to designer brands.

Carluke, Wishaw and Larkhall – another very local town – all have sports and leisure centres with activities for all the family. Another way to stretch your legs is a wonderful family outing to the Strathclyde Country Park which is halfway between Law and Glasgow. Good public transport options, including local bus routes, make sure that Law is well connected. The fast train service from Carluke will get you into central Glasgow in under 40 minutes. There’s also a train station in Larkhall. By car, it’s easy to join the M8 or the M74 depending on which part of Glasgow you are heading for. The M8 will also take you directly to Edinburgh.
