The nearest secondary school to Milton Meadow is Y Pant School, which has been awarded an 'Excellent' rating in all areas of the curriculum. Dolau Primary School has also been rated 'Excellent', and is within walking distance of Milton Meadow.
Situarted in the large village of Llanharan near Pontyclun, Milton Meadow has friendly cafes and shops nearby – perfect for your everyday needs. Talbot Green retail park is less than 4 miles from Milton Meadow and offers shoppers a large number of popular high street stores. There's also a good range of local sports and entertainment activities in the area, including Llantrisant and Pontyclun golf club, Pencoed swimming pool and gym, and a popular football and rugby club.
Cardiff is just 16 miles away, and offers all that you would expect from a large, lively university city. The sports village in Cardiff is a hub of activity, with an Olympic-sized swimming pool as well as a leisure pool. Its ice rink is the home of the Cardiff Devils ice hockey team.
Milton Meadows is conveniently situated for access to the A473 which joins the M4, the main route through South Wales, linking with the Severn Bridge into England. The local train station, Llanharan, is a short walk away from the development, and has regular trains to Cardiff Central which take about 30 minutes – perfect for the weekly commute to work.
