20 new affordable homes delivered in community of Llanilid

Persimmon Homes West Wales has partnered with Hafod and Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council to deliver new homes for social rent at its major Parc Llanilid site.

A mix of one and two-bed apartments and two-bed houses, the homes were handed over to Hafod at the start of February and residents are now beginning to move in. 

In a prime location, close to the M4, the new homes have great access to local amenities as part of Parc Llanilid, a Persimmon development that sees the creation of over 1,700 homes on the former open cast coal site. 

Work began on the brownfield site in 2019 and longer-term plans for the development will feature a new primary school and village centre, including leisure, retail, and community facilities.
