Persimmon Homes

A new home in your shopping basket

06 February 2014

Persimmon Homes says it is now possible to enjoy a brand new home in Liverpool for less than the price of the average family’s weekly shop.

Persimmon Lancaster says new homes at its Woodfarm Hey development in Stockbridge Village start from as little as £52 a week – lower than a typical family spends on its weekly trip to the supermarket.

And it says the houses offer practical and flexible accommodation in a convenient location.

Sales and marketing director Diane Finch said Woodfarm Hey offered outstanding value for money for new buyers.

“We have a range of two and three bedroom houses in a variety of designs, all with downstairs cloakrooms, en suite shower rooms to the master bedroom and parking spaces,” said Diane.

“The development is within the Borough of Knowsley, within easy reach of the M57, A57 and M62, making it excellent for commuters – and for less than the average family spends in the supermarket each week.”

Latest figures from consumer magazine Which put the average weekly shopping bill at £77.

Prices at Woodfarm Hey, off Haswell Drive, start from as little as £67,995 for a two bedroom semi-detached property, and with Help to Buy and a whole range of Persimmon offers also available, Diane says it has never been easier to buy a new home.

“All of the houses have been thoughtfully designed and offer the peace of mind of a newly-built home at a price which simply cannot be beaten.”

The Help to Buy Scheme give buyers the chance to secure their home with just a five per cent deposit and 75 per cent mortgage. The remainder is made up by a Government-backed equity loan which is interest free for a period of five years.
