Ambitious Hannah lands new role

09 November 2017

An ambitious property professional has landed her second promotion in just four years.

Hannah Dorner, 27 and from Rothwell in Kettering, has started her new job as field sales manager at Persimmon Homes East Midlands.

Hannah has enjoyed a rapid climb up the Persimmon ladder having started with the company as a trainee sales adviser in 2013 fresh from university, where she studied quantity surveying.

She started at Persimmon Homes North Midlands region, which has its headquarters in Leicester, before being transferred to the East Midlands office in Peterborough in January last year to take up a new position of sales progressor.

Now Hannah is looking forward to her new challenge as field sales manager, which will see her oversee sales at a number of developments, as well as managing sales advisors.

Hannah said: “I trained as a quantity surveyor but quickly realised I wanted to work with people and customers.”

“The job as sales progressor was a great opportunity and saw me liaise with solicitors, lenders, purchasers, buyers and other estate agents to see a purchase right through to completion.”

“The end of the month was often pressurised, but there was a real buzz when all the paperwork was signed and sealed.”

“Now I’m excited to be moving on with my career. Persimmon has been a great company to work for and has been very supportive.”

There is another familiar face in the office for Hannah as her 28-year-old sister Charlotte recently started as a sales administrator.

Charlotte has been working as a stable manager but wanted to take her career in a different direction.

Nova Eames, head of sales at Persimmon Homes East Midlands, said: “I’m delighted that Hannah has agreed to be our new field sales manager.”

“She has performed extremely well as sales progressor and I’m sure she will be just as good as field sales manager.”

“Persimmon is a company which believes in training and promoting from within. This is further proof of that.”

Persimmon Homes is currently looking for trainee sales advisers to join the team. Visit www.persimmonhomes.com/jobs for more information.
