Caister Festival gets £1,000 boost from Anglia
11 June 2025

Caister Festival is gearing up for its biggest year yet, and it’s just received an extra boost with a £1,000 Community Champions donation from Anglia that will help support the weekend-long event.
Last year, the festival attracted around 6,000 visitors, and with even more entertainment, food and family fun planned this summer, organisers are expecting an even bigger turnout on the 28th and 29th of June.
The donation comes through from our Community Champions scheme and highlights our continued support to the local area. Every quarter the 5-star homebuilder supports local charities and organisations with up to £6000 donation or contribution to charities and local good causes. This latest donation from Anglia follows the launch of its latest development in Caister, Mulberry Park.
Michelle Baker, Managing Director and Debi Sherman, Head of Planning, were pleased to join Sinead from the Caister Festival planning team to present the cheque. Speaking after the cheque presentation, Michelle said:
“We’re proud to support Caister Festival, which is such a brilliant celebration of the local community.
“With Mulberry Park bringing new homes to the area, this donation is part of our wider commitment to supporting the places where we build. It’s fantastic to be involved in the festival that brings everyone together.”
Sinead, Caister Festival organiser said:
“We’re deeply grateful to all those who have helped in any way – through donations, time, resources, or encouragement - we could not do this without you.
“Funds raised from this year’s festival will go towards developing The Caister Sensory Gardens – a new inclusive space designed to support wellbeing and bring joy to residents and visitors alike. "
With excitement already building, the weekend festival is set to become one of the highlights of the local summer calendar with entertainment, music and food stalls available across the weekend.
