Flat track racing champion receives new round of support
19 May 2025

Flat track racer, Jack Bell, received a second round of funding from Persimmon Homes East Midlands following his successful Community Champions application.
The five-star homebuilder provided a £1000 donation to Jack last year which helped fund his racing series last season and travel across Europe.
This year, Persimmon Homes are pleased to have increased the donation to £5000 which will assist with travel to races in Italy, Poland, Hungary and Argentina. These upcoming competitions follow Jack’s latest victory in the National Pro Championships.
Ben Smith, Managing Director Persimmon Homes East Midlands commented:
“I was pleased to present our latest Community Champions donation to Jack Bell at Holdingham Grange. Jack has shown immense talent and we are delighted to be supporting his future competitions through this donation.”
Jack said: “I am very proud to announce the renewal of my partnership with Persimmons Homes as a main sponsor for my 2025 campaign.
“Persimmon has been a huge help towards my racing successes, allowing me and the bike to be prepared in the best way possible for both British and World Flat Track Championships.
“I’d like to thanks Persimmon Homes and especially MD Ben Smith for their continued support and help towards my Flat Track career.”
In attendance at the visit was Councillor Robert Oates who represents Sleaford Holdingham Ward and joined the previous Community Champions presentation.
Cllr Oates said: “It is great to see Persimmon supporting our local sporting talent. As a UK champion Jack Bell is flying the flag for this area. We wish him every success.”
