Perthshire local joins five-star builder as Customer Care Coordinator just months after buying his first home

Persimmon Homes North Scotland has welcomed Jamie Hudson, from Perthshire, as its newest Customer Care Coordinator – just months after he first became a Persimmon customer.

The 28-year-old bought his first home with Persimmon in March 2025 and quickly developed a passion for the company and its product. Just four months later, Jamie joined the five-star builder to help deliver the same positive experience he enjoyed as a customer.

Before beginning his career in housebuilding, Jamie worked with EE/BT Group, where he worked on internal audit processes and played a key role in implementing the nationwide rollout of Customer Outcome Testing across EE retail stores, in alignment with FCA Consumer Duty requirements.

In his new role at Persimmon, Jamie will support homeowners across North Scotland, ensuring that customer care remains at the heart of the business.

James MacKay, Persimmon North Scotland Managing Director, said:

“Jamie’s story is a brilliant example of how a great customer experience can inspire someone to join our team.

“Having been through the journey himself, he brings a unique perspective and passion for customer service that will be invaluable in his new role. We’re delighted to welcome him on board.”

Jamie Hudson said:

“When I bought my home with Persimmon, I was really impressed with both the quality of the house and the service I received. It made me want to be part of the company and contribute to helping other customers enjoy the same experience.

“I’m proud to have made the move and excited about what lies ahead.”
