Happily ever after for Telford woman
17 November 2012
It really is a case of ‘and they all lived happily ever after’ for one young lady from Telford as she got engaged to her prince charming, got given the keys to their castle and celebrated her 21st birthday.Vicki Blakey and her fiancée, Ashley Breeze (22) got engaged the week before her 21st and to top off the celebrations got the keys to their new Persimmon Home, at Coppice Grove, in Lawley Village the day before her birthday.
Vicki, a nursery supervisor said: “The last couple of weeks have been a complete whirlwind but I wouldn’t change them for the world.
“I’m thrilled to be engaged and to have the keys to our new home. It is just the icing on the cake that this has all happened around my 21st birthday, making it a time I will never ever forget.”
Ashley, a mechanic at the local Audi dealership added: “I’m so happy Vicki said yes, I can’t imagine my life with anyone else and I’m looking forward to us building a life together in our new home.”
Coppice Grove is part of Lawley Village, Telford’s premier new homes development. Located just two miles west of Telford town centre, it is currently the largest sustainable urban residential development of its kind in the UK, providing 3,500 homes, alongside new health, education, retail and leisure facilities.
