Local MP Dr Jeevun Sandher recently visited one of Loughborough’s most significant developments.
Dr Jeevun Sandher MP for Loughborough spent time with local housebuilder Persimmon Homes to hear more about the work underway at their Garendon Park development.
Hosted by Dan Endersby, Managing Director for Persimmon North Midlands, Dr Sandher was given a tour of the development and met with members of the site team.

The visit comes at a time of intense focus on the country’s need for more homes, with the Labour Party setting out ambitions to boost housing delivery as a key part of its national agenda.
Garendon Park is one of the largest residential developments in Leicestershire, set to deliver 3,000 high-quality homes alongside community facilities, green open space, schools and infrastructure investment.
Dan Endersby, Managing Director of Persimmon North Midlands, said: “It was a pleasure to welcome Dr Sandher MP to Garendon Park and show him the progress being made on a major development in the region.
"With so much focus on the need for more homes, we’re proud to be playing our part in delivering high-quality, and affordable homes for local people.”
Dr Jeevun Sandher MP for Loughborough: “I was pleased to have the opportunity to visit the Garendon Park development recently.
“Housebuilding is a key priority for myself and for the Labour government, which is why I am so glad that Persimmon are moving at pace to provide much-needed new homes.
The construction and manufacturing jobs created through this project are also a vital boost for our local economy and community.”
