The Mayor of Warminster joined leading local housebuilder, Persimmon Homes, to officially open its new Jubilee Gardens showhome.
Situated on Victoria Road, the development is offering high-quality two and three bedroom homes, with the development providing the perfect opportunity for families, young professionals, and downsizers looking to settle in a thriving community.
The Charles Church showhome was launched by the local mayor, Chris Robbins, earlier this month at a special ceremony.
The homes are built to the highest specifications, with top-quality materials and exceptional attention to detail. The development features a range of designs, from traditional to contemporary, ensuring that there is something to suit every taste and lifestyle.
Commenting on the launch, Pauline Fletcher, Sales Director at Persimmon Homes Wessex, said:
"We were delighted to be joined by the Mayor of Warminister, Cllr Chris Robins, for the launch of our new showhome at Jubilee Gardens.
“It was an action-packed launch weekend, with plenty of visitors and potential customers getting the chance to see for themselves the exceptional quality and design of our homes.
“The site is in a great location and with a range of styles and prices to suit all needs, we are confident that this development will be a popular choice for those looking for their dream home in Warminster.
“Working with key stakeholders such as Warminster Town Council, we are determined to create a truly sustainable and inclusive development which will also include substantial investment in new facilities, amenities as we seek to leave a positive and lasting legacy for customers and the local community.”
As part of the development, Persimmon will make a substantial contribution in the local area with millions of pounds worth of investment as the housebuilder delivers a sustainable community for all.
This will include land for a new primary school, significant areas of open space including a riverside park, equipped children’s play areas, two areas of sports pitches and associated changing rooms, a local centre, allotments, public art, employment land, improvements to public footpaths, new pedestrian and cycle routes, biodiversity enhancements and a dedicated ecology area.
A number of affordable homes including adapted homes for older/disabled people will also be provided on site for the purposes of housing local people. Significant financial contributions will also be made towards education provision, bus services connecting the scheme with town centre, signal upgrades to improve vehicle movements in the town centre, health care in Warminster, enhancements to local public rights of way.
A sizeable financial contribution will also be made to the Wiltshire Community Infrastructure Levy, which will provide funding for local infrastructure priorities, and new roundabout accesses will be delivered on Victoria Road and Bath Road with a new spine road connecting the two.
