Midlands team gives £1,000 cash boost to Northamptonshire cheerleading academy

A cheerleading group in Northamptonshire has received a cash boost from our Midlands team to help fund the costs of competing throughout the year.
Infinite Allstars Cheerleading Academy received a £1,000 donation from us as part of our Community Champions initiative. The group runs classes for children aged 4-16, including those with disabilities or additional needs. The group aims to keep costs low for families in the community to offer a sport that is affordable. Despite this, competitions can often occur further fees such as costumes, equipment and entry tickets for coaches, parents and the athletes.
The donation will help with the affordability of these expenses, offering a sponsorship to children who want to attend but are unable to fund. The funding will also enable the group to purchase costumes and equipment for competitors.
Amy Hatcher at Infinite Allstars Cheerleading Academy said “We’re absolutely delighted by this kind donation from Persimmon Homes. Our goal has always been to provide positive experiences for young people and to do this with minimal cost to their families.
“The money that Persimmon has kindly gifted us will help us to fund a range of costumes and equipment to make cheerleading more accessible and we couldn’t be more grateful.”
Claire Dearsley, Sales Director at Persimmon Homes Midlands, added “What we do is about much more than just building homes, it’s about leaving a lasting positive legacy in the communities that we build in. We’re always delighted to lend a hand to local sports groups to boost their ongoing initiatives or contribute to causes that mean a lot to them.”
“It’s great to be able to provide Infinite Allstars Cheerleading Academy with this donation which will allow many children to take part in the sport.”
