More than 85 per cent of Welsh development sold
06 July 2016
More than 85 per cent of houses at a development in Pyle have been sold – and those left are likely to follow in the coming months.
Sales managers at Persimmon Homes West Wales said 91 of the 106 houses at Woodland Gardens have already been snapped up. There are just 15 three and four bedroom homes remaining – and Sharon Robinson, sales director at Persimmon Homes West Wales, said they will be gone well before Christmas.
“Woodland Gardens has been very popular and it’s great to see the families settled in their new homes,” said Sharon. “We’ve seen a wide range of people buying here, from first-time buyers making the most of the Help to Buy (Wales) scheme, to investors, expanding families to downsizers. We’re now on the final stretch with this development and people need to act fast if they want to be a part of this new community. We have a good selection of stunning three and four bedroom homes left and our team would be delighted to show people around.”
More than 70 per cent of people who have bought at Woodland Gardens since the start of 2016 have used Help to Buy – Wales, which makes it possible to buy a house with a deposit of just five per cent. Persimmon’s Part Exchange scheme is also popular which helps people sell their existing homes before buying new.
Sharon said: “Selling an existing property can be daunting – but Part Exchange can really help relieve the strain and make the whole process as smooth as possible. We’ll pay and organise the estate agents so you don’t have to. We’ll then arrange for two independent agents to value the property so that you get a fair price. You won’t have to worry about selling your home and you can stay living there until your new Persimmon home is ready to move into.”
