New beginnings at Lane End

Persimmon Homes has opened the doors to a brand new show home at its Marbourne Chase development at Lane End, welcoming an award winning sales advisor to the area.

Francoise Demonne was nominated ‘sales advisor of the year’ by her employer in recognition of helping homeowners make their next move into their new homes at the company’s Old Mill Place development in Little Chalfont, contributing greatly to the development’s success.

Hailing from Marlow, Francoise is already quite at home at the new Marbourne Chase development welcoming potential customers to the marketing suite, currently housed in the three bedroom Hurley property, and the adjacent Marlow show home.

Francoise comments: “Interest in the development is already high with lots of potential customers interested in the Help to Buy scheme, which makes home ownership possible for people with small deposits, as well as people looking to downsize or retire to the area.”

The Hurley, currently housing the marketing suite, showcases the traditional flint work that is in-keeping with local surroundings and features on a number of properties within the development. Construction director John Hutchings, says the decorative flint work detail features on several homes within the development and required the company to source a number of highly skilled contractors to carry out the traditional flint laying work.

The new Help to Buy initiative, announced during this year’s budget, is proving popular in the region, making it easier for many home buyers to secure their new home. Purchasers need a minimum of just five per cent deposit which is then combined with an equity loan from the Government, which is interest free for the first five years, equating to 20 per cent of the property’s value. A mortgage is then secured on the remaining 75 per cent of the property’s value.

Home Change is another scheme that can help buyers to make their move more quickly. Under the scheme Persimmon’s sales advisors take the hassle out of selling the buyer’s existing property leaving them free to concentrate on moving into their new home. They will arrange valuations, agree a price and then market the property. There are no estate agent fees or headaches - everything is taken care of.

Buyers qualifying for Part Exchange can enjoy a hassle-free move without any hidden marketing costs or chains that risk breaking down. Persimmon will arrange at least two valuations, agrees a market price with the customer before the straight forward process of moving into a new home can begin.
