NEW HOMES BRING MORE THAN £2.3 MILLION TO BAMBER BRIDGE
29 November 2021
A selection of new homes released for sale in Bamber Bridge will deliver more than £2.3 million in investment in the village.
The contributions towards local infrastructure and community services will be made by our Lancashire region as part of the planning agreement for the Brindle Park development.
Sales director Diane Finch said: “Brindle Park includes homes to suit a range of buyers, from those looking to get on the property ladder for the first time to families seeking more space as they grow. Bamber Bridge is in a great location – with plenty of schools, shopping and leisure facilities nearby, close to open countryside, but also within easy access of the motorway network for commuters – and we are pleased that our investment in the area will support continued enhancements for the community.”
The first selection of properties released for sale includes a Burnham style four-bedroom detached house priced at £275,000 and a five-bedroom Marston design at £300,000. A third of the properties on the development will be designated as affordable homes for local people, offered as a mixture of rented and owned.
Central to Persimmon’s investment in the site will be a Community Infrastructure Levy payment of more than £1.4 million to South Ribble Borough Council, to enable the local authority to deliver the specific additional infrastructure and facilities needed in the area.
Local transport concerns have been addressed through more than £437,000 of contributions and, in addition to areas of green space planned across the development, Persimmon will also provide £393,327 for public open spaces elsewhere in the neighbourhood.
