New housing development exceeds expectations
10 July 2012
The UK’s leading housebuilder is celebrating as one of its latest developments in Leeds has exceeded all sales expectations, before the site has even opened.
Persimmon Homes West Yorkshire is delighted by the success of The Beeches site in Kirkstall which has attracted more than 150 people making enquiries about the new homes since being announced in March.
Simon Whalley, Persimmon Homes West Yorkshire’s sales director, said: “We knew that The Beeches would be popular, but we’ve been bowled over by the number of enquiries that have been made through our website.
“This sought after location, across the river from the picturesque ruins of Kirkstall Abbey, makes a lovely place to live, and the mixture of three and four bedroom homes will be a real hit – especially with first time buyers who are looking to utilise the Government’s NewBuy scheme to get onto the housing ladder.
“The feedback we are receiving from prospective buyers is that the properties are just what the market needs in Kirkstall.”
The Beeches is situated on Broad Lane, just two miles from Leeds city centre, and is due to open in August 2012.
