Persimmon Homes is poised to start work on a new £17.6 million housing development at the former Bellsdyke Hospital in Kinnaird Village, Larbert, forming part of the wider redevelopment of the area.
Persimmon Homes East Scotland were given the green light by Falkirk Council to begin construction in February with a total of 128 homes scheduled to be built.
The site will feature a collection of 93 semi-detached new Persimmon homes and 35 detached four, five and six-bedroom executive homes with a central open space surrounded by mature woodland developed by Charles Church, the prestige sister brand.
Speaking of the new development Jim Kirkpatrick, Managing Director for Persimmon Homes East Scotland, said: “Our further investment in Larbert is testament to our commitment to support the local community, create jobs and enhance a site which has laid vacant for many years.
“A new and thriving community is already forming at Kinnaird Village with a primary school and retail units already established.”
