Persimmon Homes invests in regional skills (1)

Persimmon Homes has significantly increased its team in East Anglia with a number of key trainee appointments, underlining its commitment to investing in regional skills.
Over the past year, the company had recruited two new trainee sales advisors, three members of the land and planning team and seven trade apprentices as it expands operations across more new homes developments.
Managing director Andrew Fuller said: “Despite the challenges thrown up by economic uncertainty over the past few years, Persimmon Homes Anglia continues to serve the region with quality new homes developments.
“From our regional headquarters in Lowestoft, we currently operate on nine sites, with a further five new outlets due to open this year.
“To ensure the ongoing success of the company, Persimmon Anglia has been recruiting bright young apprentices and trainees, keen to learn and succeed in the housebuilding industry – and we continue to recruit, ensuring we invest in the skills we need to grow the business.”
Joining the Persimmon team are trainee sales advisors Chantelle Asker, Nikki Miles and Lucy Woodhall; apprentices Ryan Allen, James Blanch, Liam Quadling, Patrick Smith, Jack Songer, Ryan Stephenson, and Ben Warren; technical assistant Mark Wilkinson, trainee quantity surveyor Mitchell Wildman and planning graduate Grant Heal.
All of the young employees have undergone a comprehensive induction and ongoing training programmes.

“And we are completely committed to developing the next generation of trade professionals, ensuring valuable practical construction skills are passed on from our existing craftsmen to the builders of the future.
