Persimmon Homes starts construction on final phase of popular development
18 March 2020
After more than five years of building, a residential development in Clipstone has exceeded all expectations with construction on its last remaining properties now under way.
Persimmon Homes is building its final phase of properties at Emperor’s Court.
With homes on the development, off Cavendish Way, attracting a range of buyers, from investors to growing families, house hunters have been quick to snap up properties at the site.
Neil Follows, managing director at Persimmon Homes Nottingham, said: “We always approach the final phase of a development with mixed feelings – joy at completing a project and seeing so many people settled into their new homes, but also a little sadness when we have been part of the local community.”
“When we finally leave Emperor’s Court, we will have built more than 330 new homes and welcomed many more new customers.”
The final phase will feature more than 10 house styles, ranging from two, three and four-bedroom homes and will also provide a financial contribution to the local community in education for local schools, a community library, leisure facilities, and a community facility as well as affordable housing.
Neil added: “Emperor’s Court has always been a popular development and we believe its location is a key attraction. Close to the popular village of Clipstone, with all your everyday amenities, surrounding by countryside and still with easy access to Mansfield, Nottingham Worksop, Emperor’s Court is certainly an obvious place to call home.”
