A Wolverhampton business will set-up home at this year’s City Show to offer expert housing advice and give visitors the chance to win £10,000.

Persimmon Homes West Midlands and Signal 107 FM are holding a ‘Crack the Safe’ competition at the City Show, which brings the flavour of the countryside to the city every year on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th July at West Park.

Popular radio presenter, Dicky Dodd will be hosting the competition and all visitors to Persimmon’s stand have to do is guess the correct code to crack the safe to win £10,000.

In addition, the public will be able to drop into the housebuilder’s stand and get their questions and queries answered about the property ladder.

Expert advice will be on hand as Persimmon are bringing along an Independent Financial Advisor, who will be able to advise attendees on their financial situation and the best way to move forward to buy a property, whatever their circumstances.

Stephen Cleveley, sales director at Persimmon Homes West Midlands said: “We’re looking forward to being at the City Show, it’s a brilliant event where everybody is in great spirits and if someone walks away with £10,000 it will be an amazing weekend for them!

“We’re pleased to support the show and Signal 107 FM, we think that the event will be an ideal time for visitors to drop in and find out about the ways to get on and move up the property ladder too.”

Persimmon Homes has developments across the area including Akron Gate, Abbotts Fields and Lawley Village.

Highlights of the free event include the Devil’s Horseman, The Royal Artillery Parachute Display Team (The Black Knights) and a Motor Cycle Display (to be confirmed).
