Regional baby boom for Persimmon Suffolk
14 December 2021

December started off with a day of celebrations for three expecting mothers as the Suffolk office experiences a regional baby boom.
Staff threw a lunchtime baby shower for three of their colleagues. Celebrating over a scrumptious afternoon tea were expectant first-time mums Georgia Read (customer care co-ordinator), Chloe Chappell (senior sales administrator) and Kerry Smith (assistant planner).
Lucy Woodhall, sales director for Suffolk, said: “We were so pleased to hear the exciting news from not one but three of our colleagues.
“We wanted to be able to celebrate with them all in-house before they move closer to their maternity leave.
“We wish them all the best for becoming mums for the first time and can’t wait to meet their new arrivals.”
Persimmon provides a generous support and benefits package to employees, including maternity and paternity leave, and many of the company’s roles allow flexible working patterns.
