Severn Valley donates to North Somerset football club

Severn Valley region has donated £4,200 to the local football club.
The Club, formerly known as Portishead AFC, was founded in 1912. The men’s first team are currently members of the Western League Premier Division after securing promotion as champions in the 2023/24 season and the Ladies first team are members of the FA National League, South West Division One. A position in both football league pyramids are impressive and testament to the hard work of volunteers all round.
The Somerset County FA-affiliated club is also home to nearly 900 Junior players aged between 5-16 as part of a merger between other Portishead junior football teams, with over 1,100 players and members.
Severn Valley has sites in North Somerset in Backwell, Yatton, and Weston-super-Mare, as well as Cribbs Causeway. Two, three, and four-bed properties are available for sale from £260,000.
Persimmon donates £700,000 each year to good causes and much-valued organisations across Britain each year as part of our Community Champions scheme. Recent local recipients include Yatton Juniors FC, Ashton & Backwell United FC, Bristol Normandy Veterans, St George Easton in Gordano FC, and Backwell Playhouse, and Bristol Baby Bank Network.
