Persimmon Severn Valley is pleased to announce the appointment of Amy Parker as its new Finance Director Designate.

Amy will be overseeing and managing the Finance Department for Severn Valley, responsible for all financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the business unit.

Amy joins Severn Valley from Taylor Wimpey South Wales, where she held the role of Senior Finance Manager. She brings with her a wealth of experience from the housebuilding sector, having also worked at Persimmon Homes Suffolk as Finance Manager – her first senior finance appointment in 2018.

A Chartered Accountant with significant expertise in financial management within the construction industry, Amy’s appointment reflects Severn Valley’s commitment to strengthening its financial leadership as it continues to grow as a business.

Commenting on her appointment, Amy said:

“I’m excited to be taking on the role of Finance Director Designate at Severn Valley. The housebuilding industry presents unique challenges and opportunities, and I’m looking forward to contributing to the continued success of the Severn Valley business.

“Working closely with the regional leadership team, I aim to bring financial insights and strategic guidance to support our growth plans and drive operational excellence. This new role offers a fantastic opportunity to apply my experience from previous roles and make a meaningful impact for Persimmon.”

Regional Finance Director for the South West Division, Rochelle Theaker, to whom Amy will report, added:

“We’re delighted to welcome Amy to Persimmon Severn Valley. Her track record of delivering strong financial leadership and her deep understanding of the housebuilding sector make her an excellent addition to the business.

“I look forward to working closely with her as she steps into this key position for the Severn Valley region.”
