Show home opening is a piece of cake for local councillor

24 February 2014

Councillor Andrew Atkinson was the guest of honour at the launch of a stunning new show home in the market town of Ross-on-Wye.

Councillor Atkinson performed the official VIP opening at the show home at Chase Wood View, the latest development from leading house builder Persimmon Homes.

The event, held on Saturday 15th February at 11.00am, featured the official launch of the fantastic five bedroom Turnbury show home and an exclusive cake decorating demonstration and cake sampling from expert cake maker Jill Bunn.

Talking about the development Councillor Atkinson said: "These are stunning new homes that we need in this town. We need new homes in Ross for our young people, families and also executive homes. This development offers this and is part of the package that is needed to attract businesses and jobs to the area. Well done everyone, they look fantastic."

Alison Reading, sales and marketing director at Persimmon Homes South Midlands, said: “Opening a new show home is always a thrill for us, and having such an important local dignitary as the Councillor Atkinson to perform the official duties made it extra special.”

Nestled close to the River Wye, Chase Wood View features a wide range of two, three, four and five bedroom homes ideal for first-time buyers, growing families and those looking for more space from just £199,995.

“Buyers can take advantage of the range of incentives available at this development including Help to Buy, Home Change and Part Exchange to make the entire process stress free and more affordable than it has ever been.”

The Government-backed Help to Buy Scheme, enables people to move into their dream home with just a five per cent deposit. Anyone looking to trade up may also be able to access the Home Change scheme, where Persimmon market their existing property for them, saving time and money.

Alison added: “Call into Chase Wood View to take a tour of the show home and find out how easy it would be to get the keys to your new home.”
