Six members of the Essex region took part in a charity skydive, raising nearly £4,700 for their local air ambulance charity.
Managing Director Richard Hush was joined by Technical Director Luke Atkinson, Layout Design Manager Ross Wyatt, Senior Buyer Laura Jeyes, Assistant Quantity Surveyor Beth Warren and Conveyancer Chloe Chappell.
The brave team leapt from a plane at 13,000ft before parachuting back down to the ground at Beccles Airfield, taking on the exhilarating challenge in aid of their charity of the year, Essex and Herts Air Ambulance.
Richard Hush, Essex MD, said: “It was an amazing experience on Saturday, I am still struggling to find an apt expression of feelings for the entire experience.
“I want to thank the team for joining me in this challenge and for working hard to raise such a substantial sum for a charity that is saving lives across the area in which we build on a daily basis.”
Ross Wyatt added: “Beforehand we were all experiencing such a mix of emotions, mainly apprehension. Once we were up there the adrenalin started pumping and any fear was forgotten.
“It was such an exhilarating experience and I had such a sense of accomplishment once I hit the ground, there was a real wave of euphoria knowing I had not only conquered that fear but also raised money for the air ambulance.”
The team set a target of raising £2,400 and have now nearly doubled that, reaching £4,700.
