03 August 2015
Persimmon Homes has started work on a 11 acre site at the foot of the Pennines.
Persimmon Homes West Yorkshire plans to build 139 homes in the picturesque town of Penistone.
Surrounded by beautiful and historic countryside, Hartcliff Meadows will feature a mix of three, four and five bedroom homes aimed at appealing to all budgets and lifestyles.
Simon Whalley, sales director at Persimmon Homes West Yorkshire, said: “This is an exciting new development in an attractive town which is close to major road networks, cities and towns and has the beauty of the spectacular Peak District scenery nearby.
“To reflect the scenic backdrop of Hartcliff Meadows, each of the properties will feature a stone-effect fronted exterior. There is also a feature walled entrance with an abundance of open spaces throughout the development.”
Penistone has much to offer in ways of history and culture with the town listed in the Domesday Book. Its semi-rural setting is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts with the Peak District National Park being just a short drive away.
“Our sales team will be on hand from the end of August and we are working towards winter completions.
“We have already received a number of enquiries and are encouraging customers to register their interest so we can keep them up-to-date with developments at the site,” concluded Simon.
