WORK UNDERWAY ON CAERPHILLY NEW HOMES
11 November 2011
Work has begun on an exciting development that will bring 116 new homes to the heart of Caerphilly.
Persimmon Homes has started construction at its new Virginia Grove development, situated near Virginia Park in the centre of the town.
Offering a variety of traditional house types, from one bedroom coach houses to three bedroom townhouses and four bedroom detached family homes, Virginia Grove is the first new housing development of this scale to be built within easy walking distance of Caerphilly town centre and benefits from being situated near a golf course, park and rugby club.
Just a ten minute drive from Wales’ capital city, Caerphilly boasts a bustling shopping centre with an extensive choice of restaurants and pubs and a wide range of leisure facilities. It is also home to one of Wales’ most famous monuments, Caerphilly Castle, and many of the new homes at Virginia Grove will enjoy views of this stunning landmark.
Sharon Robinson, sales director at Persimmon Homes East Wales, said she was confident this new development would be one of their most popular sites.
"Caerphilly has long been an attractive choice for purchasers looking for an affordable alternative to living in Cardiff city centre and with its wide range of different house types, this development will offer something for everyone. Its location in the heart of the bustling town means that the shops, restaurants, park and pubs are all within easy walking distance and, for those looking to commute to Cardiff, work will be just a short drive away.
“We will be opening a show home on site early in the New Year but we are asking anyone who is interested in buying a home at Virginia Grove to register their details with us early as we are expecting this to be a very popular development.”
