A new housing estate in Hilton is proving popular with scores of buyers set to move in.
Homes at Persimmon’s Wakelyn Gardens in The Mease, Hilton are being snapped up since the development launched last year. The development will comprise stunning range of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes.
Prices start at £177,995 at the much sought-after development, which sits in the large South Derbyshire residential village of Hilton, just off the A50, offering excellent transport links to Burton-upon-Trent, Derby, Nottingham, Stoke-on-Trent and the M1.

The development also benefits from a newly built primary school - The Mease Spencer Primary Academy.
Sales director for Persimmon Homes North Midlands, Nadine O’Dowd, said young couples and growing families had been among those flocking to buy a home on the development.
She said: “This is a significant development and there has been huge interest in the properties.”
“Reopening our sites has been a huge boost for househunters and our sales team has been working hard to provide the support to those looking to move, being able to meet face-to-face with customers, obviously in a safe manner, makes a big difference.
“With schemes such as Help to Buy: Equity Loan available, as well as our Part Exchange and Home Change.
“These are beautiful homes which will particularly suit growing families and with various schemes on offer it has never been easier to move,” Nadine continued.”
One of the schemes available is the Government-backed Help to Buy: Equity Loan. Under the shared equity scheme, buyers only need a 5% deposit and are eligible for a 20% loan on the term of a mortgage, which is interest and repayment free for the first five years.

Nadine added: “Home Change is also available and, if you are eligible, we arrange at least two valuations, agree a market price and use our expertise to help sell your existing property, with all estate agency fees paid.”
“On selected properties, we are also offering 100% Part Exchange. We will buy your house at its full market value which means there will be no agent fees, no hassle with a guaranteed buyer for your property and a stress-free move into your home.”
“In addition, the newly announced Stamp Duty holiday means there has never been a better time to buy a new-build property. We are available for viewings, with bookings by appointment only, and look forward to welcoming you to Wakelyn Gardens.”
